Beetroot Sabji is a simple and fast meal. It is the greatest method to include it in your diet if not comfortable eating it raw. Beets are abundant in vitamins and minerals such as folate, manganese, potassium, and many more. It aids in the lowering of blood pressure. It eases bowel movements and the ability to resolve relief from constipation because of its high fibre content. It also enhances exercise endurance and helps in keeping of healthy weight.
Ingredient
- Beetroot (Boiled, chopped) – 2 Medium sized
- Onion (Chopped) – 1 Medium sized
- Mustard Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
- Green Chilli (Chopped) – 2 No.
- Curry Leaves – 1 Twig
- Coconut (Grated) – 2 Tablespoon
- Oil – 1 Teaspoon
Method
- Heat the oil in a medium-sized sauce pan. Add the mustard and cumin seeds and allow them to crackle. Add onions, green chilies, curry leaves, and salt to taste.
- Cook the onion until it is translucent.
- Now add boiled chopped beetroot and sauté for a few minutes. Adjust the salt to taste.
- There is no need to cook it any longer because it has already been boiled.
- Now Turn off the heat, stir in the grated coconut, and serve.
