Rudhran Trailer Promises A Complete Raghava Lawrence Style Action Fest

Producer Kathiresan of Aadukalam and Jigarthanda fame turns director with Raghava Lawrence’s Rudhran. The film is a festive action entertainer that takes place in the backdrop of a harbour and a few temple festivals.

With glimpses of the remastered version of the ‘Paadatha Paatellam’ song and a dance number, along with the love track featuring Lawrence (he plays Rudhran) and Priya Bhavani Shankar, the trailer hints at the peaceful life of Rudhran and his family, before the villain (Sarath Kumar), who is greedy for money enters their life. While what causes the rift between the two is unknown, the trailer promises action-packed entertainment. The major highlight is a fight sequence (plays towards the end of the trailer) featuring Lawrence and Sarath Kumar, with dancers representing different gods dancing in the background.

Directed and produced by Rudhran, the story was penned by KP Thirumaaran. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar and background score by Sam CS. While RD Rajasekar ISC has cranked the camera and Anthony has edited the film. Rudhran is slated to hit the screens on Tamil New Year, April 14.
