Advance Bookings for Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan opened on September 1. As per a report in Pinkvilla, nearly 50,000 tickets were sold across the three national chains, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis, within the first couple of hours. The film is being shown in 2D and IMAX 2D formats, and as per a report in E Times, tickets for some shows in Mumbai and Delhi are being sold for as high as Rs 2300 and Rs 2400 respectively.
Jawan stars Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles with a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. The film is directed by Atlee and will be released in theatres on September 7.
