Katrina Kaif on Merry Christmas: ‘Sriram sir gave me one of my toughest roles’


In a recent social media question and answer session, Katrina Kaif shared insights about the making of her recent release Merry Christmas, delving into behind-the-scenes details. From tackling Tamil dialogues to praising the director Sriram Raghavan’s dedication, Kaif reflected on the film’s challenges and the joy of collaboration with a stellar team.

As we delved into the conversation, the actress opened up about her experience filming Merry Christmas. She expressed, “Merry Christmas has been one of the most gratifying experiences in my career. Sriram sir gave me one of my toughest roles yet, presenting challenging tasks, but the outcome made me immensely proud to be part of this film.”

She also shared her experience of working with Vijay Sethupathi. She described it as “unique, unusual, and very liberating. Sethupathi’s comfort in his skin, devoid of pretence in front of the camera, resonated with Kaif, highlighting the authenticity that unfolded on set.

Merry Christmas, released on January 12, the film also starred Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Ashwini Kalsekar in supporting roles.
