Kohhra offers a close look at a world riddled with violence, where the lines between good and bad are terribly blurred, and where the authority of institutions is threatened by widening fault lines. The commentary is stimulating, but it’s the craft that allows meaning to emerge like a truck piercing the morning mist. It isn’t apparent at first, until it’s suddenly all too clear. The detailing by writers Gunjit Chopra and Diggi Sisodia goes a long way in terms of this staggered impact. In Kohrra, the whodunit is as compelling as the other stories and secrets that surface in the course of the murder investigation around which the show and its characters revolve.
