At the song launch event of ‘Current Laga Re’ from Cirkus, Deepika Padukone displayed her competitive spirit to Ranveer Singh.
As Singh said, “I feel so grateful to collaborate with The Rohit Shetty again for this one,” Padukone interjected by saying: “But, I worked him first” with an affirmative gesture. To which Singh had no response as he stood in admiration. He just said: “Now what can I say, baby?”
Cirkus will see Singh in a dual role, his second film with director Rohit Shetty after the 2018 superhit film was Simmba, which had him playing a corrupt cop who goes through an emotional transformation.
The song ‘Current Laga Re’ features Singh and Padukone dancing to some foot-tapping music. The two were last seen together in 83 (2022). The song is composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas.
