Cobra (Tamil, Telugu)

When: 31st Aug

Vikram-starrer Cobra is an action thriller that traces the life of a genius mathematician Mathi aka Cobra who commits crimes using maths. The film also marks the acting debut of cricketer Irfan Pathan. Directed by R. Ajay Gananmuthu, it also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Mathew, K.S. Ravikumar, and Mirnalini Ravi.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu (Tamil)

When: 31st Aug

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu explores different facets of love. The film stars Kalidas Jayaram, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Regin Rose.  

Palthu Janwar (Malayalam)

When: 2nd Sep

Prasoon, who is an animator, takes up the job of a veterinary livestock inspector following his father’s death. The film then takes us through the fun-filled happenings in his new workplace. Helmed by Sangeeth P Rajan, the film stars Basil Joseph, Indrans, Johny Antony, Dileesh Pothan, and Shammy Thilakan.

Bhubhan Babur Smartphone (Bengali)

When: 2nd Sep

Bhubhan Roy, a 58-year-old accounts clerk, buys himself a smartphone due to the pressure from his boss. This social drama explores the trouble this gadget creates in the hassle-free life of Bhubhan Roy. Directed by Santanu Basu the film stars Chinta Mukhopadhyay and Paran Bandopadhyay. 

Tajmahal 2 (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

Bhagat, a boy from a marginalised community, falls in love with Spandana, the daughter of a rich upper caste landlord. The film follows their lives as they plan to move to Dubai. Directed by Devraj Kumar, the film stars Devraj Kumar, Shobhraj, and Tabala Nani.

Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga (Telugu)

When: 2nd Sep

Rishi and Radha are childhood enemies and the story follows their romance. Directed by Gireeshaaya, the film stars Panja Vaishnav Tej and Keitika Sharma. 

E.T – The Extra Terrestrial (English)

When: 2nd Sep

Steven Spielberg’s classic ET revolves around a young boy named Elliott, who discovers and befriends a stranded alien on Earth. The film stars Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, and Peter Coyote.

Akasha Veedullo (Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil)

When: 2nd Sep

Siddhu falls in love with Nisha, but a series of unfortunate events separate them. The story traces Siddhu’s love story and his journey into becoming a Rockstar. Gautham Krishna D has directed and acted in the film, which co-stars Pujita Ponnada and Devi Prasad. 

Kshipra (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

This investigative thriller explores the idea of different perspectives. Directed by Sathish Krishna, this film stars Daksh Vinu and Priya Darshini. 

Die Hard Fan (Telugu)

When: 2nd Sep

One night, Priyanka Sharma, a famous actress, responds to a text from a fan and decides to meet him at his place. Why would an actress decide to meet her fan and what will be the consequence of this meeting? Directed by Abhiram M, the film stars Shiva Alapati, Priyanka Sharma, and Shakalaka Shankar. 

Balamevvadu (Telugu)

When: 2nd Sep

Set in Vizag, the story explores the lives of two lovers whose lives are hit by the medical mafia. Will they be able to survive this difficult phase? The film is directed by Satya Rachakonda, and stars Dhurvan Katakam, Nia Tripathi, Suhasini Maniratnam, and Nassar. 

Dhamaka (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

Directed by Lakshmi Ramesh, Dhamaka is a comedy film that follows the life of Narasimha. The film stars Shivraj KR Pete, Priya J Achar, and Nayana Sharath in lead roles. 

Paka Dekha (Bengali)

When: 2nd Sep

Tiyasha is a fun-loving girl who finds it difficult to balance her personal and professional life. And Joy is a punctual person who works in a bank. What happens when the families of this unlikely duo want them to get married? Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki, the film stars Soham Chakraborty, Susmita Chatterjee, Sumanta Mukherjee, and Dolan Roy.  

Ottu (Malayalam, Tamil)

When: 2nd Sep

Ottu, titled Randakam in Tamil, features Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy. Directed by Fellini TP,  this thriller traces the lives of two people who strike an unlikely friendship. 

Markata (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

Markata traces the journey of six college students who struggle to navigate college life. Directed by Vijay Raj, the film stars Vijay Raj, Ganesh, Pooja, Badri, Charan, and Ruchitha.

First Day First Show (Telugu)

When: 2nd Sep

Seenu’s crush Laya promises to watch Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi with him and asks to get them first-day first show tickets. Will Seenu be able to get the tickets? Directed by Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshminarayana Puttamchetty, the film stars Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, and Sanchita Basu. 

Beast (English)

When: 2nd Sep

Baltasar Kormakur’s directorial Beast is a survival thriller film. Set in Savannah, the story follows a father and his two teenage daughters, who are hunted by a rogue lion. The film features Idris Elba, Iyana Halley, and Leah Sava Jeffries. 

 

Come On Yaar (Hindi)

When: 2nd Sep

Directed by Rajeshwar Pandey Raaj, the story explores the journey of people from different age groups dealing with social and household problems. The film stars Atul Parchure, Vineeta Malik, and Deepraj Rana.

Fantasy (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

Set in the backdrops of Madikeri, this horror thriller follows the journey of a nine-year-old boy Akhil and Jennifer. The movie tries to blur the line between fantasy and reality. Directed by Pavan Kumar. R, the film stars Priyanka Shivvanna, Anurag Patil, and Bala Rajwadi. 

Na Venta Paduthunna Chinnadevadamma (Telugu)

When: 2nd Sep

Directed by Venkat Vandela, Na Venta Paduthunna Chinnadevadamma is a unique love story starring Akhila Aakarshana, Tej Kurapati, Tanikella Bharani, and Jeeva. 

Run Kalyani (Malayalam)

When: 2nd Sep

This directorial debut of Geetha J traces the day-to-day life of Kalyani, a young cook who lives with her ailing aunt. It stars Gargi Ananthan, Manoj Menon, and Madhu. 

Spider-Man: No Way Home The Extended Version (English)

When: 2nd Sep

Peter Parker is forced to face his greatest challenge when Dr Strange’s spell goes wrong and unwanted guests enter the universe. Directed by John Watts, the film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Benedict Cumberbatch. 

Shimanto (Bengali)

When: 2nd Sep

Directed by Suman Maitra, Shimanto explores the danger that unfolds in Kolkata and the border areas, told through the eyes of the Intelligence Bureau. The film stars Payel Sarkar, Saheb Bhattacharya, and Mainak Banerjee. 

Sarvasya Naatyam (Kannada)

When: 2nd Sep

Betrayed by James in a dance competition, Raja, a dance choreographer, comes across a group of orphaned kids. The film then follows his efforts to train the kids for a dance competition. Directed by Manjunath BN, the film stars Rushikumar Swamiji, Shamya, Harsha Cheluvaraj, and Venkatesh Sushil R in lead roles. 

Hey Kem Cho London (Gujrati)

When: 2nd Sep

Directed by Sunny Suraani and Ankit Sunil Trivedi, Hey Kem Cho London follows the journey of two childhood best friends who fall for the same girl. The film features Leena Jumani, Leena Prabhu, Manas Shah, and Mitra Gadhvi.
