75 years of independence – Today, on 15th August 2022, India celebrates 75 years of its independence to mark the end of British rule that went on for over 200 years. After two centuries of oppression and fighting against it, we were able to call ourselves ‘independent’ as a country. But as we salute the tricolour today and sing patriotic songs, it is also our duty to ask if what we call independence is true by its nature. Are we really free, or are we still under the invisible umbrella of colonists that once ruled upon us? Watch the video to find out!
